Swayansiddha, meaning “self-made woman,” is a flagship empowerment initiative of the Agricultural Development Trust, aimed at nurturing self-confidence, leadership, and career awareness among young college-going women. Conducted annually as a three-day residential camp, the program invites female students from across Maharashtra to participate in a transformative learning experience.
Over the course of the camp, participants engage with inspirational women leaders, successful entrepreneurs, and eminent speakers from various fields including education, politics, agriculture, and industry. The initiative not only exposes them to diverse career paths but also prepares them for competitive exams and entrepreneurial ventures.
Interactive sessions, workshops, and motivational talks form the core of the program, making Swayansiddha a unique blend of education, personality development, and inspiration. Students are introduced to real-life role models who share their journeys, instilling confidence and ambition among participants. The atmosphere fosters peer learning, critical thinking, and social bonding.
Now in its third year, Swayansiddha has proven to be a catalyst for change, encouraging women to break traditional barriers and emerge as independent, goal-oriented individuals. The program is a strong reflection of the Trust’s vision to promote women’s empowerment through knowledge, mentorship, and exposure.
